A wonderful opportunity available -   The Springston Enviro Community’s Secret (Community) Garden needs a coordinator  - this could be your chance to make a difference to a local community!

The garden was named the “Secret Garden” by the local school children as it is hidden away in a sheltered back section. It has been developed by the local community and for the last few years Zanada has been our wonderful volunteer coordinator, but she now needs to move on.  The garden connects with Springston Primary School through a back gate and is extensively used by the school children. 

There would be an opportunity to get involved with the children’s programmes, organising workshops, garden “fun” days, and generally coordinating the planting, weeding and general running of the garden.  

The garden is a member of the Selwyn Timebank, so if you are a member you could earn Timebank credits.
